Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP named attorneys Jeffrey W. Brown and John R.W. Fugitt partners, effective January 1, 2011.

Jeffrey Brown focuses his transactional practice in the areas of real estate and business acquisitions, bank financing, leasing, commercial contracts and entity formation. Jeff serves as an outside “general counsel” for several clients, where he assists with employment, vendor, corporate governance and other day-to-day matters that arise. Jeff also has experience advising individuals and entities in business disputes, litigation and arbitration concerning, among other things, fiduciary duty, shareholder, partnership, contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, non-compete and real estate issues. Jeff graduated from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2000 and from the University of Kansas with a business degree in 1996.
John Fugitt concentrates his practice on civil litigation in state and federal courts, with a primary emphasis on real property litigation and business contract and tort disputes. John has experience representing landlords, tenants, property managers, developers, business owners and individuals in a broad range of areas, including both simple and complex eviction matters, partnership disputers, contract disputes, leasing disputes, construction defect cases, and similar matters. John graduated cum laude from The University of Texas School of Law in 2002 and summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in 1998.
