Six Bell Nunnally Attorneys Named Texas Rising Stars

Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP attorneys Wendy A. Duprey, Heather H. Jobe, Karen L. Hart, Jeffrey S. Lowenstein, Christopher B. Trowbridge and Donnie W. Wisenbaker, Jr. have been named to the 2012 Texas Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers -- a Thomson Reuters publication and rating service.

The Rising Stars list recognizes lawyers across 70 practice areas who are 40 years or younger and in the first 10 years of their practice and who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Inclusion is based on a highly selective process comprised of detailed and comprehensive peer nomination, evaluation and research. Ultimately, no more than 2.5 percent of the attorneys eligible for this distinction throughout the state are selected.

Duprey is senior counsel and a member of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights; Labor, Employment and Benefits; and Litigation practice areas. Her practice focuses on litigation, including commercial, construction and securities matters, as well as appellate cases. Duprey is a graduate of Washington University School of Law (J.D., 2005) and Knox College (B.A., 1998). This is her third consecutive selection for the Rising Stars list.

Jobe, an associate, practices in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring; Creditors’ Rights; and Litigation groups. She is focused on bankruptcy- and business-related litigation, with a concentration on valuation issues. Jobe is a graduate of Texas Tech School of Law (J.D., 2004) and Texas State University (B.B.A., 2000).

Hart is a partner and member of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights; Intellectual Property; Litigation; and Real Estate groups. She handles litigation and counsels clients with respect to complex commercial real estate and construction issues. Hart is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin School of Law (J.D., 2001) and the University of Texas, El Paso (B.A., 1997).

Lowenstein is a partner, chair of the firm’s Litigation practice and a member of the Intellectual Property and Real Estate groups. His trial work involves representation of businesses and individuals in a variety of complex commercial matters and business disputes. Lowenstein is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (J.D., 1998) and the University of California, Los Angeles (B.A., 1995). This is his fourth selection as a Rising Star.

Trowbridge, a partner, is a member of the firm’s Commercial Finance; Corporate and Securities; Creditors’ Rights; Entertainment, Advertising and New Media; Intellectual Property; and Litigation practice areas. He is focused on helping clients with complex business disputes and his litigation docket routinely includes class action defense, securities matters, broker-dealer disputes, FINRA and AAA arbitrations, and appeals for clients nationwide and ranging from high-net-worth individuals to Fortune 500 companies. Trowbridge is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law (J.D., 1998) and Baylor University (B.B.A., 1995). 2012 is the fifth year he has been named a Rising Star.

Wisenbaker is a partner and a member of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Litigation groups. He concentrates on general commercial litigation, handling oil and gas, securities and real estate disputes, creditors’ rights litigation, landlord and tenant issues and diverse business and contract cases. Wisenbaker is a graduate of Washington University School of Law (J.D., 2004) and Austin College (B.A., 2000). This is his third Rising Star selection.
