Bell Nunnally Names Heather Jobe Partner

Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP has promoted Heather H. Jobe to partner. This brings the total number of partners at the firm to 27.

“Heather is a very fine bankruptcy attorney, a valuable member of the Bell Nunnally team and a great asset for our clients. She is a natural addition to the firm’s partnership,” said James Skochdopole, managing partner of Bell Nunnally.

Jobe is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights and Litigation practice areas. She is focused on bankruptcy- and business-related litigation, with a concentration on valuation issues.

Representing secured and unsecured creditors and DIP lenders with respect to the enforcement of their rights and obligations in the context of bankruptcy litigation, Jobe’s experience extends to Section 363 asset sales; the prosecution and defense of preferential and fraudulent transfer actions; objections to discharge and dischargeability of debt; challenges to claims; involuntary bankruptcy petitions; executory contract issues; requests for relief from the automatic stay; and declaratory judgment proceedings.

Jobe also handles property tax assessment litigation to minimize property tax liability of property owners. This includes commercial and industrial properties, such as national headquarters, data centers, office buildings, shopping centers, apartment complexes, raw land, industrial facilities and oil rigs.

Jobe is a graduate of Texas Tech School of Law (J.D., 2004) and Texas State University (B.B.A., 2000).
