Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP attorney Ross A. Williams has been named a finalist for the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce’s “2013 Greater East Dallas Business Awards.” He is part of a select group of eleven individuals and businesses throughout East Dallas.
Individuals and businesses in the East Dallas business community are nominated by their peers and selected on the basis of the following attributes: significant business achievements; business and civic role model qualities; characteristics of business excellence and integrity; business and community leadership; and record of professional and civic achievements directly correlated to their use of the free enterprise system to improve the quality of the lives of those in their company and community.
Four awards will be bestowed at a luncheon, featuring U.S. Congressman Jeb Hensarling taking place on August 20th at the Lakewood Country Club in Dallas from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.:
THE HENSARLING AWARD FOR BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
This award is given to recognize the outstanding East Dallas business of the year.
ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR
This award is presented for Entrepreneurial Achievements and noted individual successes during the past year.
CHAIRMAN'S AWARD
This award is presented for outstanding community and Chamber support by a company and/or an individual associated with the company who has made an outstanding contribution to the community and to the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce.
LIVE LOCAL AWARD
This award is given to recognize a small business/small business owner in East Dallas, who is a community leader who supports and gives back to the community.

Ross is a member of the firm’s Litigation Section, representing clients in all areas of commercial litigation. He handles complex matters involving contract disputes, business torts, trade secret misappropriation, and intellectual property, and represents creditors in matters involving promissory notes, guarantees, unpaid accounts, the foreclosure of secured properties, and judgment collection. Ross also regularly works with the firm’s transactional attorneys to advise his clients on forming and strategically positioning their businesses. He is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law (J.D. with honors, 2008) and Tulane University (B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 2005). Before joining the firm, Ross interned for Justice Bea Ann Smith on the Third Court of Appeals and clerked for Justice Leslie Brock Yates on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals.
