Heath and Andrea Cheek Named Chairs of Junior Associates of the Dallas Museum of Art Program

Bell Nunnally attorney R. Heath Cheek and his spouse, Andrea, have been named chairs of the Junior Associates of the Dallas Museum of Art program. This museum membership and young professionals group, established in 1990, is one of the nation’s largest with more than 350 members from throughout the Dallas area. Its aim is to foster an understanding of the goals and structure of the museum through social activities and events – including curator-led lectures and tours, day and weekend trips and annual events. Heath and Andrea served as underwriting chairs for its 2014 “Affair of the Art” gala, which drew more than 500 guests and raised nearly $140,000 for the museum’s teen education programming.

Established in 1903, the Dallas Museum of Art is among the 10 largest art museums in the country and is distinguished by its commitment to research, innovation, and public engagement. At the heart of the Museum and its programs is its global collection, which encompasses more than 22,000 works and spans 5,000 years of history, representing a full range of world cultures.

Cheek represents Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals in litigation matters involving securities, real estate, health care, internal investigations, antitrust, employment, patent and trade secrets litigation and general commercial litigation. He works with clients in many industries including banking, private equity, energy, real estate, technology and agriculture. In 2013, he was selected for inclusion on the Dallas Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list.
