The Alumni Association, established in 1927, supports the academic goals of Texas Tech University and counts a total of 31,000 alumni and friends of the university as members. Cheek represents Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals in litigation matters involving securities, real estate, health care, internal investigations, antitrust, employment, patent and trade secrets litigation and general commercial litigation. He works with clients in many industries including banking, private equity, energy, real estate, technology and agriculture. In 2013, he was selected for inclusion on the Dallas Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list.
