Bell Nunnally Elects Three Partners

Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP has elected Kristopher D. Hill, Benjamin L. Riemer, and Ross A. Williams as new partners, effective January 1.

“We look to attract and contribute to the professional development of attorneys who are knowledgeable, collegial and dedicated to outstanding client-focused service,” said James Skochdopole, managing partner of Bell Nunnally. “Kris, Ben and Ross certainly have these characteristics. We are pleased to welcome them as partners.”

Hill is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Labor, Employment and Benefits practices. He focuses on complex business disputes and trials involving business torts, trade secrets, contractual claims, fiduciary duty claims, “business divorces” and all aspects of covenant not to compete litigation. Hill is a graduate of Baylor Law School (J.D., 2008) and Texas Tech University (B.B.A. cum laude, 2005).

Riemer focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. Riemer has extensive experience in handling high-stakes business disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country. Riemer’s business litigation docket routinely includes cases involving construction disputes, securities litigation, broker-dealer disputes, non-compete cases, and business separations. Riemer also frequently counsels clients on legal issues facing businesses, investors and entrepreneurs. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation; Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring; Intellectual Property; White Collar Criminal and Regulatory Defense; and Entertainment, Advertising and New Media groups. Riemer is a graduate of Albany Law School (J.D. cum laude, 2008) and Syracuse University (B.A., 2002).

Williams is a member of the firm’s Litigation; Labor, Employment and Benefits; Entertainment; Construction; Intellectual Property; and Creditors’ Rights practices. He has experience in complex matters involving contract disputes, business torts and intellectual property (patent, copyright and trademark infringement; Lanham Act claims; and misappropriation of trade secrets) litigation. Williams also represents creditors on promissory notes, guarantees, unpaid accounts and the foreclosure of secured properties. He is also experienced in handling internet defamation issues. Notably, Williams has briefed appellate matters before Texas courts of appeal and the Supreme Court of Texas, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law (J.D. with honors, 2008) and Tulane University (B.A. summa cum laude, 2005).

For the past two years, Hill, Riemer and Williams have been highlighted in Texas Monthly as part of the “Texas Rising Stars” feature.
