Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP has entered into a new long-term lease at KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts in the Dallas Arts District and will be moving its offices there from its current location in Uptown Dallas. The firm will occupy 42,000-square-feet in the top two penthouse floors of HALL Arts and expects to complete the move by July. Gensler’s team of Paul Manno and Cherrie Wysong is leading the design of the new offices and Scott + Reid will serve as general contractors for the project.
“After experiencing tremendous growth in all facets of the firm during our 30 years in Uptown Dallas, we decided to move to the prestigious Dallas Arts District. This new location will help us better serve our clients and continue to attract and retain top legal talent,” said James Skochdopole, managing partner of Bell Nunnally.
In the past five years, Bell Nunnally has added 33 attorneys, including nine partners, and launched several new practice areas, including White Collar Criminal and Regulatory Defense and Cryptocurrency/Bitcoin.
“After a full evaluation of the downtown and uptown market, Bell Nunnally negotiated a strategic long-term transaction for the top two floors at HALL Arts, with 12-foot-high ceilings and expansive views,” said Jeff Ellerman, vice chairman at CBRE in Dallas,who – along with John Ellerman, vice president at CBRE – represented Bell Nunnally in the transaction. “It will be an inspiring space for them to practice law for many years to come.”
HALL Arts is a 500,000-square-foot, 18-story office building in the Dallas Art District that opened in 2015. It is“LEED-Gold Certified” by the U.S. Green Building Council. To date, HALL Arts is 93 percent leased, including Bell Nunnally’s pending occupancy on the 18th and 19th floors.
