Brent Turman was a guest lecturer for the Entertainment Law course at SMU Dedman School of Law on October 30th. In this class, Turman discussed how companies conducting business online can stay within the boundaries of each platform’s Terms of Service, what steps social media influencers can take to adequately disclose their business relationships, and how platforms are reacting to election meddling and “fake news.”
