Partner Sonja J. McGill has been appointed to the board of directors for the SPCA of Texas, an animal welfare agency in North Texas with two shelters and three spay/neuter clinics located in Dallas and McKinney. The non-profit organization’s aim is to be the “leading animal welfare agency” in the Metroplex, and it recently celebrated its 80th anniversary. In 2018, the SPCA of Texas, working with more than 2,300 volunteers, fostered more than 1,300 pets, sprayed and neutered nearly 25,000 animals and investigated close to 5,000 reports of cruelty, among other accomplishments. McGill joins North Texas leaders on the board drawn from industries including law, real estate, architecture and government.
