Russell Nunnally was a tenacious litigator who treated all, including the court, witnesses, clients, colleagues and opposing counsel with dignity. A graduate of the University of Alabama and the SMU School of Law, Russell served with the Air Force in Vietnam. He later helped build Bell Nunnally into one of the largest firms in Texas. Russell lived and practiced honorably. He was a trail-blazer, consistently recruiting and mentoring both women and men for his trial teams. He fostered a culture of inclusion and emphasized the importance of giving back to the community. Russell was a cherished mentor, advisor and sponsor. His legacy will live on at Bell Nunnally and in the countless lives that he has touched.
