Emily defends individuals and corporations in government and internal investigations, state and federal grand jury matters, and regulatory proceedings, including enforcement actions from the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and state regulatory agencies. Emily's practice has a particular emphasis on the defense of individuals and companies against criminal and civil investigations related to the healthcare industry, including hospitals, compounding pharmacies, laboratories, and physicians.
Emily's commercial litigation experience includes representing public and private companies in complex and general commercial litigation both in state and federal court. She has handled complex commercial disputes involving contract, business torts, insurance coverage, and fraud through all phases of the litigation process.
