Jarod T. Moss
Biography

Jarod is a solution-oriented, corporate lawyer with over 20 years of experience. He has practiced as an attorney at law firms and as general counsel for companies. This gives him a unique perspective, allowing him to add value to the client relationship and assist with managing complex mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures and financings.

Jarod has been in-house counsel for major real estate and healthcare companies, providing valuable insight as to what a client needs from a law firm and, more importantly, what is not needed. Jarod has a prioritized focus on the business objectives of the client based on his in-house experience, which included overseeing acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives, providing Jarod with an understanding of the relationship-building nuances that help clients overcome road blocks, achieve vital alliances and achieve their strategic goals.

Jarod has broad experience in all aspects of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and general corporate advice, including over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Due to his industry expertise, he is well-versed in elements that may be unique to the healthcare space such as joint ventures, strategic investments and/or alliances between a for-profit entity and a not-for-profit health system. He has represented issuers and underwriters in public and private securities transactions, including public and private equity and debt offerings.

Jarod is a member of Bell Nunnally’s corporate practice, which has been recognized by Chambers USA in Texas as “Band 1” for “Corporate/M&A: Highly Regarded.” The firm is full-service and offers a variety of complementary practice offerings as well.
