Reid Burley focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on creditors’ rights. Reid’s broad experience covers general business disputes, contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, shareholder disputes, and partnership disputes. His creditors’ rights work includes helping clients obtain judgments and monetary recovery through trials, garnishments, turnover proceedings, and other post-judgment collection processes – all with a focus on efficiency and maximizing the client’s bottom-line.
In addition to his commercial litigation experience, Reid represents and advises both secured and unsecured creditors through bankruptcy proceedings and related adversary cases. Reid’s bankruptcy litigation experience involves serving as first-chair trial counsel of a contested matter, extensive motion practice, drafting and negotiating debt workouts and related transactions, and handling a wide-variety of hearings.
Reid’s clients include financial institutions, healthcare third-party administrators, medical practices, and individuals.
